Carol Lynn Murray
May 25, 1956 - February 14, 2022
It is with sadness we announce the passing of our sister and friend Carol Lynn Murray, age 65. Carol was born in Marysville to Roger and Shirley Murray and passed away on February 14, 2022, after a short battle with leukemia. Following high school in Wheatland, Carol attended the Radiology/Technology program at Yuba College from 1975 to 1978. The span of her career took place at Oroville Hospital. She was there for 43 years, retiring in September of last year. She began as an X-ray Tech and furthered her education obtaining licenses in Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine. She loved her job and all the many people she worked with throughout the years. Most of all she loved her patients. Carol was loved by all and had the kindest heart. She could light up a room with just her presence. Her passions were gardening and anything outdoors, stained glass, traveling, reading, photography, and of course all of her friendships, many of which lasted more than 45 years. Her true love was her family, whom she adored. Carol was the youngest of the family and leaves behind her sisters, Sue (John) and Laurie; brother, Eric; nieces, Linda and Jill (who will sorely miss their Auntie Mert); cousins, Terri, Steve-Cindy and family; Todd-Tammy and family; and her countless special friends. Carol was preceded in death by parents, Roger and Shirley, and both sets of grandparents. There will be a lunch for Carol Saturday, March 5, 2022, 11:00 am at Marcellos in Yuba City. No host bar. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: at 7750 College Town Dr., Suite 210, Sacramento, CA 95826.
