Charles Thomas Aldridge

Charles Thomas Aldridge, of Live Oak, CA, passed away March 23, 2022, in his home. He was 94. Charles was born December 23, 1927, in Steve, AK, and had been a resident of the Yuba-Sutter area for 80 years. He served with the United States Coast Guard from April 1946 until June 1947. He was a lifetime member of the Live Oak Lions, and a member of the Live Oak Unified School Board for 8 years. He provided Custom Home Building with Aldridge Contracting, and at the age of 62, he earned his pilots license to pursue his love of flying. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Bertie Aldridge; brother, Carl Aldridge; sister, Myrt Baker; grandson, Andrew Aldridge; granddaughter, Denyce Aldridge; grandson, Joshua Moore; and great-granddaughter, Emma Aldridge. Charles is survived by his wife of 75 years, Bernice Aldridge of Live Oak, CA; son, Gary (Regina) Aldridge of Live Oak, CA; daughter, Karen (Spike) Reese of Jerome, ID; daughter, Leigh Ann (Tiger) Jones of Gridley, CA; son, Curtis (Lisa) Aldridge of Gridley, CA; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and his older sister Vivian Phillips of Durham, CA. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 23, 2022, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, at Jake's in the Butte County Fairgrounds. The family has designated Live Oak Lions for memorial contributions, PO Box 325, Live Oak, CA 95953.
