He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on October 5, 1928. George is survived by his wife of 73 years, Marilyn Anne Meinen; children, Martin G. Meinen, Deborah L. Moore, Vickie L. Miller, and Brad H. Meinen; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and 1 grandson.
