Lyman "Pinky" Williams

Lyman "Pinky" Williams, passed October 28, 2021, peacefully during the night. He was born November 3rd, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, to Orman and Evelyn Williams Pinky was a member of the Yuba Sutter Sheriffs Aero Squadron for nearly 50 years. He coached his grandkids in Trapshooting for Coon Creek and he ran the kitchen at Coon Creek with his wife and daughter for many years. He served in the US Airforce which brought him to Marysville. He was a mechanic at Slims Motorcycle Sales in Marysville, and other shops over the years, until he opened his own diesel, car and light truck auto repair shop in Yuba City, California Fleet Service. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Susan; his daughter, Melanie (Bobby) Foster; grandsons, Kyle (Whitney) Foster, and Kirby (Presley) Foster; and 3 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Julie, and Nora Foster. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sutter County Sheriffs Training Center on B Street in Yuba City, at 11am, on Saturday, December 18th 2021.
