Shortly after her birth, her family moved to Yuba City, California. She lived in Yuba City until she was an adult; graduating from Yuba City High School in 1988. While a Honker, she met many life-long friends. Upon graduating, she found a love in the field of emergency medical services and became a paramedic at age 20. During this time, she gave birth to her first and only child, Samantha. Samantha was born August 2, 1990. This day has always been remembered as a highlight of not only Renee's life, but, Renee's mother, Sue, as well. Renee cherished the bond between herself, her mother and her daughter. Carrying on this tradition of first-born girls, Samantha gave Renee two beautiful granddaughters, Piper and Zoe. Renee is remembered by being the bright spot in the room. She is described by her family and friends as being beautiful inside and out. Her first loves were her family and her dog, Koko. Renee found joy in being outdoors; particularly the water. Although the past 10 years of her life was medically challenging, she still maintained a positive and caring outlook on life. She left this earth knowing she would see her Lord and Savior. Renee is survived by her mother, Sue and husband Jim; her father, Bill and wife Joyce; her brother, Lee and wife Sara; her daughter, Samantha and husband Joey; her granddaughters, Piper and Zoe; and a loving aunt to Dawson, Riley and Jackson.
