Wilma Denvelee Bohannon, 93, of Yuba City, CA, passed away February 2, 2021. She was born to Clarence and Bertha Knee on March 25, 1927, in Marshall, Arkansas. Wilma was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 75 years and retired from the Yuba College Food Service. She was known for her persimmons that she sold for 41 years. She will be missed. Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Vaudia Bohannon, and her parents. She is survived by 3 daughters, Sherlyn Sargent (Larry) of Marysville, Vickie Hudson of Yuba City, and Pamela Martin-Bell (Victor) of Longview, TX; 2 sisters, Elvie Smith of Branson, MO, and Bonnie Crocker of Olive Branch, MS; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren with 3 more on the way. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 5-7pm at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. Services will be Thursday, February 11, 2021, 12:00 pm at the United Pentecostal Church, 2649 E Onstott Rd., Yuba City, with graveside service following at 2:00 pm at Sutter Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
