Obituary of Danny Roy Reiswig

Danny Roy Reiswig, 66, of Live Oak, CA, died Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Dan lived and loved with faith, humor, and generosity. Dan was a pilot and a maker, whether at the yoke of a single-engine Cessna, writing code, or crafting 3D-printed toys for his grandchildren. He especially enjoyed traversing North America with Jennifer and their Casita trailer. Dan was a regular feature at the Yuba City Sons in Retirement poker and photography groups. He was also a treasured member of the Superior Court of California County of Sutter Grand Jury, where he served his community with distinction. Born October 12, 1957, the son of Darvin "Ace" and Juanita Reiswig in Sacramento. CA. Dan attended UC San Diego, earning a Bachelor of Computer Science degree. He was blessed with three loves in his life, most recently marrying high-school friend, Jennifer, in 2018. Dan is survived by his wife, Jennifer Reiswig; former wife, Tobie Reiswig-Pate (Mike); sister Glenda Mathews; children, Emily Miller (Joe), Brian Reiswig (Sarah), Karen Isgrigg (Travis); step-children. Kate Boyd (Matt), Peter Souza (Brenna); and his ten grandchildren: Octavia Martin, Madison Ambriz, Kristen De Anda, Isla Miller, Olivia and Samantha Reiswig, Carson Isgrigg, Jonathan and Sarah Boyd, and Orion Souza. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tami Neiger; and Patricia Reiswig, his wife of twenty years. A celebration of life will be held at Cornerstone Church, May 11, 2024, at 2 p.m. at 700 Washington Ave, Yuba City, CA 95991. Memorial gifts may be made to Cornerstone Church or the U.S. National Park Service.
